Its been such a productive day...as well as yesterday...even though I don't feel all that great.
Reserved x-country skis for the wkend! yay
guys are tryin to knock down the gigantic icicles outside my window with iceballs and most of them hit the window instead...so steph, ashley, and i decided to use my swiffer to knock most of them down ourselves. 1) more fun for us, 2) tired of potential window-breaking.

Full and productive
It's been a good day. Presentation went relatively well, zoo lab wasn't nearly as annoying as expected (sea urchin's still look weird!), got out early so...
picked up package (clothes) :)
we went to work out at college suites for an hour or so which is nice. Joce wanted to go sledding but...the weather wasn't great for it due to wind. She hadn't been out all day so she didn't know lol.
Exercise feels good. I should totally do that more often, even tho I have been running more. If I have time I will go between work and class tomorrow! yay!
Healthy food in the fridge now and I've done a lot of homework too...hm...
Enjoying my time watching the Olympics while doing homework...I'm sorta tired.
not lookin forward to a super long day tomorrow...at least more olympics afterwards!

Maybe Chicago
Luke was mildly temperamental but still pretty well behaved on Friday, very active...and very exhausting.
I GOT INTO UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS-CHICAGO! yay, I can possibly get assistanship there and not be totally broke for the rest of my life with loans! and its 6 hours as opposed to like the 15 hours of Boston! I must look into this ASAP.
Bang's birthday celebration was a lot of fun! we went to 45 with a fun crowd. So glad I went. Bang and his siblings are crazy!
Fun quote by Jennie that night:
(paraphrase) "It's like these asian names sound like a bunch of spoons flung onto the floor! BANG! TRI! SIN!"
I must go out with them more often :), I will hafta count that as my Chinese New Year celebration...
hehehe.
Woke up at like 1:30pm yesterday. Lunch at 4pm. Josh and I both bought new shoes. His are very fitting for him and I am so excited about my new running shoes even though they were a little expensive...but they're like the comfiest shocks everrr! it's like I'm floating. Very fitting for the bounciness :).
It's valentines day. I am looking forward to dinner later but for now I must get lotsa homework done! so I must run of and concentrate! somehow :).

Dear John
The movie is amazing. I realize that it is a total chick flick but it doesn't have a totally happy/cheesy ending. The movie brought so much to light and perspective for me.
It is hard to be apart from somebody you love for a really long time as demonstrated through the movie but it's so sweet how they managed to be strong for so long. Even though they did not get together in the end (tho this is debatable because they may have gotten married after her husband died) it was real. I mean, love is real though.
I am very happy right now...very happy with my life. I am thankful for so many things...my family, my friends, school, a comfortable life, a healthy body, a healthy mind and spirit (hopefully) and of course I have Josh. Life is great. He is so comfortable, fun, and gets me even when I don't get really get myself or am in denial.
Luke called today (with the help of Mom of course) and he jabbered on and on about randomness like animal noises, car noises, airplanes, food, and of course he kept on telling me to come home and said Josh needed to come home too. I am pretty sure Luke is aware Josh does not live at my house but he loves him a lot. It's really sweet to watch...Luke just immediately starts climbing over him and lying on him, tugging at him, and cuddling with him during movies. Of course Luke loves me too, but he sees me more often. It's really cute. Small children can spot a good one.
I am going to miss everybody a lot when I go to grad school but I am excited to pursue a career that I will probably love and excited to see what life brings me and have hopes for a very good life. It's going to be hard, but I hope to enjoy the time I have now here as much as I can and just do my best. I mean people are separated during war...and some of them make it. This isn't war but it is time and distance and I hope to make it and if not, I hope to survive.
Dear John is such a good movie...and they played a Joshua Radin song (Paperweight) two times...makes me so happy! I am such a sap.
Oh...sidenote: got some call about a sweepstakes where I "won" a cruise for two. 1) there are catches, 2) my parents would have to go with m to sit and listen to them for an hour about their travel agency (no way would that happen), 3) not quite worth it. But at least I got a call about "winning" SOmething, right?
I took a nap today. I should take more. They are awesome. I need to develop this skill for my own good.
Finally see you are naturally
The one to make it so easy
When you show me the truth
Yeah, I'd rather be with you
Say you want the same thing too --I'd rather be with you--Joshua Radin

Plastic wrap art

Miami artwork made eco
At least other people noticed it, I just thought it was weird when I first saw it on campus though. lol.
I wonder what happened to the plastic wrap after they took it off the trees though?

Highlighters and experiences
This past weekend I babysat Luke for a bit, then Josh came over and we began watching this Chinese movie. Of course the subtitles are in Chinese so I cannot really read them but at least I get what is going on for the most part and can be an alright translator. It's been really good so far and we hope to finish it this Friday.
on saturday we went to a Highlighter party at Zack's house and Fei&Seth joined. It was a ton of fun.
Sunday? I was SUPER productive, thanks to Josh. I was incredibly focused...lol. And I guess I ended up with a lot of paper cuts and never noticed as I was so preoccupied with making my notecards.
It has been a good weekend and I now have a water filter to save money on buyin bottled water! I need to learn to save money anyway because of grad school.
I got into Boston University! and rejected by UNC-Chapel Hill (expected that). Boston is beautiful but expensive...and far, far away. They do have an awesome health care system though. I also learned that Janelle (tech at work) used to live there/go to school there so she'll be super resourceful if I decide to go there in terms of finding places to live and such.
I've been so out of it. I also found I am very attached to my phone.
I have this Biochem exam tomorrow morning at 7:50am. Then work/class til 9pm. Then exam at 11am Thursday. Not looking forward to all that. Living at the library temporarily.
